10 Worst Movie Reboots Of The 2010s

1. Truly A Gateway To Hell - Hellboy (2019)

Jason Momoa Conan The Barbarian
Lionsgate

Remember those great Guillermo del Toro Hellboy films? This reimagining was not one of them. In fact, the film appeared to be unwanted by audiences. The first two Hellboy’s were a fantastic dive into fantasy, while this version of the character had David Harbour as the strangest looking Hellboy yet.

The film struggled to find a tone, jumping from comedy to sinister action in a heartbeat. The quality of the film may have felt worse because of del Toro receiving an Oscar for The of Shape Water shortly before its release, which reminded us of just how good the originals were. Either way, this iteration majorly disappointed fans and most definitely won’t have a sequel.

The lesson of this reboot (amongst others) is that if something is good, it is sometimes best left alone.
