3. Aloha
When a trailer opens with Alec Baldwin bellowing the words you are going to wear this like Flava Flav wears a clock, its a good hint youre not witnessing the very best of films. Though considering the furore surrounding Aloha before its release, its perhaps not surprising. Even before the trailer dropped the film was pretty much blighted by bad luck with original stars Ben Stiller and Reese Witherspoon dropping out (though thats perhaps not a bad thing), not to mention the infamous Sony email hack that revealed the now former Sony executive Amy Pascal thought Alohas script was ridiculous. From Alohas trailer we gathered that theres some kind of military drama love/triangle going on in Hawaii between Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams and Emma Stone (the whitest ever person to play a quarter-Chinese, quarter-Hawaiian in cinema history) and even though Bill Murray popped up offering a brief glimpse of hope, he soon started dispensing twee life advice and we realised that not even the Murricane could save this piece of Cameron Crowe directed twaddle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3mf_ewjc7s
