10 Worst Movies To Watch On Valentine's Day

4. Smashed

Like Shame, a film that stars current heart throbs Aaron Paul (Jesse from Breaking Bad!) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona from Scott Pilgrim!) seems like it's covering all bases for the horny, romantic folk who spend Valentine's Day in front of the telly or laptop screen. And whilst they are playing a married couple here too €“ the best looking couple in recent movie history €“ things aren't looking good for them either. Whilst the toxicity in Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf? comes from within, in Smashed the couple are poisoning themselves. About halfway throw the film's running time they each acknowledge they're alcoholics, but struggle to get onto the wagon. It's a tough watch, seeing such beautiful people slowly killing themselves. Post-viewing relationship status: Nobody dares polish off that fancy bottle of wine you got for dinner, but you also feel like you really want a drink. Like how Super Size Me paradoxically makes you crave McDonalds.
