10 Worst Performances In Comic Book Movies
7. Jesse Eisenberg - Lex Luthor (Batman V. Superman)
The mess of a movie that is Batman v. Superman has been debated for years now. For even though many fans loved seeing two of the greatest superheroes in history go head to head, it didn't really matter when you were too confused about the rest of the film. Even if the main superheroes weren't your thing, wait until you get a load of the guy who pit them against each other.
Appearing as a younger version of Superman's nemesis, Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex Luthor is too awkward to even be considered a competent villain. Make no mistake, Eisenberg has done some phenomenal work in movies like the Social Network, but if there's one thing he can't pull off that well, it's intimidating.
With every other threat he makes on Superman or Batman, Luthor just ends up looking like a college kid who is in WAY over his head.
Even with the more cringy lines he has to say, this is another instance where an actor is cast in a Batman movie as the villain and immediately wants to be the Joker. However, if you think that's bad... just wait until you see the real Clown Prince of Crime in this universe.
