6. Aaron Taylor-Johnson As Lt. Ford Brody - Godzilla (2014)

Another notably poor performance from an otherwise talented actor, Aaron Taylor-Johnson's appearance in 2014's Godzilla was one that left audiences scratching their heads.

After having the rug pulled from under us with the now-infamous death of Bryan Cranston's highly publicised character halfway through the movie, what was left was Taylor-Johnson's Ford Brody, Cranston's on-screen son.

While it may seem that the young actor is more than equipped to portray the lead in a big-budget monster movie, his performance said otherwise.

Delivering line after line of incredibly wooden dialogue, Taylor-Johnson simply failed to lend any emotional weight to his scenes - or to the movie in general - despite the fact that he was playing a Naval Officer who had just lost his father to a giant reptilian monster.

It's even more baffling when you consider Taylor-Johnson's celebrated performances in Hollywood blockbusters such as Kick-Ass and Avengers: Age of Ultron, because the whole world has already seen that he's capable of stealing the show even on the biggest of screens.
