10 Worst Reviewed Movies Of All Time

4. Garfield: The Movie

No one wishes that Garfield: The Movie didn't exist more than its feline star, Mr Bill Murray himself. Legend has it that Bill signed onto the project without even reading the script, believing it to have been written by acclaimed screenwriter and director Joel Coen (in actuality, it was written by a significantly less esteemed Joel Cohen -- h's are important, people). Now, there are a lot of Bill Murray legends floating out there and we take most of them with a grain of salt, but this just sounds too much like him to be a fake. His distaste for the film was even one of the best parts of Zombieland, when he's asked if he has any regrets and he brings up Garfield. If the people who made a substantial amount of money off the movie (and its sequel) hated it, imagine how the poor saps who were forced to watch it must feel. Claudia Puig from USA Today said, "Not even Bill Murray could save Garfield," which is perhaps the most damning indictment of any film ever.
