10 Worst Sci-Fi Sequels Of All Time

1. The Dark Knight

joker-dark-knight-rises I know that I am liable to receive threats for what I am about to write, but sometimes it is important to just say how you feel. You may even say this is not a sci-fi film, but for the purposes of this list it is because I need to get this off my chest. So forgive me, internet, for what I am about to type: I didn€™t like or enjoy The Dark Knight. Why? It is over wrought and way too serious. Its €œsombre tone€ tipped over into grumpiness for me. Heath Ledger€™s (a sharp intake of breath is heard around internet land in dreadful anticipation that a criticism of Heath Ledger€™s Joker is forthcoming) performance as The Joker is astonishing but, nonetheless, it is still highly derivative of Jack Nicholson€™s take on the role. Uncle Jack€™s performance still holds up today; it is scene stealing, often hilarious, unhinged and terrifying. Dark Knight is a series of boring scenes, linked together by Heath Ledger€™s star turn. One of the most overrated movies of recent times and one of the worst sci-fi sequels ever. Sorry, it€™s just the way I feel. Like this article? Agree or disagree?
