10 Worst Superhero Movie Posters

8. Jonah Hex

XMen First Class
Warner Bros.

The poster for Jonah Hex features the tagline, "Revenge Gets Uglier". What a fitting line to be slapped on this piece of work.

This poster is an absolute eye-sore. From the painfully obvious CGI being employed on Hex's mini-gun, to the fact that each and every character on the poster is in different lighting, to the magical wind blowing through Megan Fox's hair and no one else's, this thing is a mess.

And ironically enough, the poster opts to shroud the injured half of Brolin's face in so much shadow that viewers can't even see the supposed 'ugly' part of him. This was almost certainly done to save money on compositing, as the injured half of his face is very clearly an unfinished effect in the image.

As a cherry on top, the backdrop seems to be the exact same piss-poor, generic cloudy setting that Iron Man 2 used for its poster. So it's nice to see that backdrop at least getting good work out of these resoundingly limp films.
