10 Worst Superhero Movie Posters

6. Fant4stic

XMen First Class
Fox

Remeber 2015's Fant4stic, that absolute dumpster-fire of a film? Well it also had an absolute dumpster-fire of a poster.

Featuring the four central characters all just standing together, it suffers from having to show off their incredibly underdeveloped costumes that are essentially just black jumpsuits. And as an idea, having The Thing stand at the back so as to appear even larger and more imposing is solid. But in execution, he is backlit so harshly that he's all but a silhouette. Much like the Jonah Hex poster, this is just a cheap cost-cutting measure so as to not have to fully composite The Thing into the image.

Then there's the other three. Michael B. Jordan appears to escape this travesty, much like the film, fairly unscathed. But both Kate Mara and Miles Teller have had cringe-inducing digital facelifts that make them not even look human.

Even stranger still, is the backdrop. The heroes appear to stand among the wreckage of a toppled city skyline as embers and dust flutter all around them. None of this ever actually happens in the film.
