10 Worst Superhero Movies According To Rotten Tomatoes

1. Max Steel

Supergirl Helen Slater
Open Road

Based on a line of superhero action figures, 2016's Max Steel had the odds stacked against it from the start... because who actually even wanted a Max Steel movie? Mattel probably could have found a way to make a somewhat decent big screen putting starring this character, but with a bunch of relative unknowns and a clear reluctance to spend money, it's no wonder this is in the 0% club.

That's right, not a single critic liked it. Why? "Bereft of characterization or even satisfying rock 'em sock 'em," the Critics Consensus explains, "Max Steel feels like futzing with an action figure without any childhood imagination." Ouch.

Attempts had been made for years to make a Max Steel movie a reality (Twilight's Taylor Lautner is no doubt relieved he passed on the project to star in the Stretch Armstrong feature that never happened), but there's simply no way this action figure is ever pulled back out of the toy box.

Perhaps if more money had been spent it and it hadn't been treated like a direct-to-DVD project you'd find in the bargain bin of your local corner shop, things would be different, but according to critics...it's the worst superhero movie of all-time!
