8. Kuzco Kills An Old Man - The Emperor's New Groove
As The Emperor's New Groove is really a redemption story from start to finish, you'd expect to do some pretty heinous things from the get-go, and you'd be right.
The 2000 animated movie follows Kuzco, Emperor to the ancient Inca Empire. Due to his age and spoiled upbringing, Kuzco is portrayed to be selfish and short-tempered. A fan of all of the lavish aspects his position awards him, Kuzco shows great disdain for the problems of the people of his empire.
The film opens with Kuzco discussing just how he would become a llama later in the film through flashbacks to his life in the build-up to becoming Emperor.
The young Peruvian was waited on hand and foot and was given whatever he so desired whenever he wanted. It is little wonder that he grew up to become so arrogant.
During his opening monologue/theme song/dance routine he accidentally moonwalks into an elderly man.
This pensioner clearly did not realise Kuzco was there as he was turned away but that did not stop the young Emperor from claiming that 'you threw off my groove'.
Kuzco then had the old man defenestrated, or in less fancy words, he had him thrown out of a window, presumably to his death.
This happens before the plot even begins. What a dick.
