10 Worst Things Disney Heroes Have Done
7. Peter Is Constantly Mean To Wendy - Peter Pan
As children, Peter Pan seemed to be leading the best life imaginable. Being able to stay young and have fun forever in fantasy land and no grown-ups telling us what to do? Where could we sign up?
As the cynical adults we've all grown into, however, we see that Peter was regularly mean and manipulative, and caused drama for his own entertainment.
Aside from playing Wendy, Tinkerbell and Tiger Lily against each other in a game of jealousy, Peter was guilty of bullying Wendy fairly often throughout the film.
When Peter took Wendy to visit the mermaid lagoon, Peter simply floats and laughs as the mermaids appear to try and drag Wendy into the water, splashing her and pulling at her clothes.
After the young girl tries to defend herself, Peter scolds her, claiming the mermaids were only having fun. They even admit to trying to drown her.
Later, after he is honoured by a tribe for rescuing the Chief's daughter, Tiger Lily, Peter leaves Wendy behind to fly off with the latest girl to take his fancy.
After Wendy tries to explain to her brothers that it is time to return home, Peter dismisses her completely, claiming that everyone thinks he is wonderful.
Seems his time in Neverland has made him pompous and mean more than wild and free.
