10 Worst Things The Joker Has Ever Done On-Screen
2. The Destruction Of Jason Todd - Batman: Under The Red Hood
Could there be a worse team-up for the Dark Knight to tackle than Ra's al Ghul and the Joker?
In the midst of obliterating multiple financial districts throughout Europe, the Head of the Demon hires the Joker to distract Batman and Robin. Jason Todd ultimately comes face to face with the Joker and falls victim to that ever-dreaded crowbar. Beaten senseless, Jason is a bloody mess, left behind to die in a warehouse explosion.
Adding some insult to injury, Batman turns up just in time to witness the bomb go off, realising he never could've made it in time. It's all as bleak and brutal as the original A Death in the Family story arc from 1988. While there turns out to be more than meets the eye with Jason's demise, what remains a constant is the gleeful savagery on display from the Joker during his attack.
A key moment in their ever-escalating feud, the Joker treated Robin's death as an accomplishment to be proud of. Jason Todd resurfacing as the vengeful, murderous Red Hood vigilante is just the icing on the cake. This was the crime that kept on giving.
