10 Worst Times A Movie Character Returned From The Dead

8. Jack Frost - Jack Frost

Not to be confused with the horror film of the same name that came out one year earlier, 1998's Jack Frost is a family Christmas movie with an incredibly dark thread running through it.

Michael Keaton is the titular Jack Frost, a musician whose busy career means he never has time for his son. One night, right before Christmas, Jack is killed in a car accident.

Yikes, what happened to the season of being jolly?

Obviously the film doesn't end there - that would be hilariously bleak - and Jack is brought back to life through the power of a magical harmonica. Yes, really. It's that kind of movie.

Unfortunately for Michael Keaton, he doesn't come back as his ruggedly handsome self, but rather as a big, blobby snowman puppet that's somehow even more terrifying than the one in the horror movie.

Snowman Jack is obnoxious and infantile, constantly making childish jokes and references to his "snow balls".

Combine this with the horrifying suit that some poor soul had to wear whilst making this film, and honestly, it would have been better for everyone is Jack had just stayed dead.
