10 Worst Times A Movie Character Returned From The Dead

9. Chucky - Child’s Play 2

At the end of the first Child's Play movie, the evil doll Chucky is exceedingly dead. Like, there's dead, and then there's Chucky dead.

He gets burnt to a crisp, blown to pieces, and then shot through the heart. That should be enough to keep him away for good, right?

Wrong!

At the start of Child's Play 2, the Play Pals corporation - the company who produce the Good Guy dolls, one of which served as the host for Chucky - are attempting to recover from the bad publicity of their product's killing spree.

To prove there is nothing wrong with the doll, they reconstruct the one that had attempted to kill Andy and his mother during the first movie. However, wouldn't you know it, yet another electrical surge hits the factory and brings the killer doll back to life!

What are the odds?

It's supposed to be a comment on the greed of large corporations, but honestly, how stupid does one have to be to rebuild a toy infused with the soul of a serial killer?

The great irony being that this stupid decision was undertaken by a large corporation in order to make more money off a Chucky sequel.
