10 Worst Uwe Boll Movies Ever

8. BloodRayne

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSMS9IwtD3Y I'm wondering whether Ben Kingsley still wakes up in a sweat wondering why on earth he had anything to do with Bloodrayne. It was 2005 and Uwe Boll was already well known for doing to movies what EA do to video games. Boll had already pushed out House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark, so how did he manage to rope in Kingsley and Michael Madsen? Did he manage to beat them in a boxing fight? In fact, whilst we're on the that train of thought, why did Boll think Bloodrayne would make a good movie? The video game it was based on wasn't exactly good and vampire films hardly ever work out in the long run. Whilst Boll doesn't exactly lose out a lot financially, there must be some sort of voice in his head that cries out every now and the--actually no, it probably cries out every time he gets a new idea for a film. If you're going to base a film off a video game, try to at least follow the story of the game no matter how bland it is. That way you at least keep the fans happy even if you produce a terrible film. Boll however sees it as a challenge to create films that have nothing to do with the games they are based on. Why Boll bothers hiring script writers is beyond me when he completely ignores their finished product and changes the majority of the story. It's as if the man's sold his soul to some sort of other worldly being and gets brownie points by wasting people's money and time. The surprising fact is, Bloodrayne is one of Boll's better films and it's causing me physical pain to type that out. Compare it to some of the films on this list and Bloodrayne appears to be a Hollywood blockbuster even if it only made 15% of its budget back.
