3. Jeremy Renner Gets Nothing To Do (The Avengers)
Looking at Jeremy Renners pedigree, its not hard to make a case for him as one of the better actors around. He got multiple Oscar nominations and a range that lets him convincingly play everything from a troubled soldier, to a Boston gangster to an action hero. So naturally, people were pretty happy that an actor of his caliber was joining the Avengers as beloved archer Hawkeye. That was all until people actually saw the movie. For the majority of the film, the wisecracking comic book character became a mindless slave to Loki. And even when he was finally released, he got little characterization and his only purpose seemed to be to add another body to the action sequences. Though he would later be redeemed in Age Of Ultron, Renner still feels like an afterthought in the MCU. He could absolutely handle his own solo movie, or even a co-starring effort with Black Widow, so every supporting role he gets just keeps feeling like a waste of his talents.
