10 X-Men Characters That Deserve Their Own Movie

1. Doop

doop Wait right there. Doop is an awesome addition to the X-Men, and here€™s why. Created by Peter Milligan and Mike Allred, Doop made his first appearance as a floating green sphere in X-Force back in 2001, and since then he has been a fantastic recurring character in a number of titles. Doop was birthed from a Cold War experiment, and he is even partly responsible for the downfall of the Soviet Union, somehow. Since then, he has had various run-ins with Wolverine, worked with X-Statix on a number of occasions, and he currently works as a secretary at the Jean Grey Institute for Higher Learning. He is generally contested by various staff members though, due to his constant thievery, laziness and overall ineptness. On numerous occasions though, Doop has taken Wolverine€™s side in fighting crime behind the scenes, which at least explains his lazy work ethic at the institute. He€™s a valuable asset of any team, and his methods are unique, to say the least. Doop€™s vast array powers include; regeneration, extreme physical malleability, superhuman strength, the ability to control time, psionic blasts and interestingly enough; he can assimilate objects into a infinite dimension, stuck right inside his body. Admittedly, he is a little overpowered, but Doop is a fantastic character and whenever he appears in any of the X-Men comics, magic happens. What could be ideal for Doop, would be to place him in an animated feature, which could focus on his truly unique superhero career. It could even be tied in with Wolverine. He may not speak a word of English, but he makes up for that with his rather particular behaviour. If you haven't read anything with Doop in, then fix that immediately. Of course, all of these great characters rightly deserve their very own movie. We probably won€™t see them feature in one, but surely Dazzler will at least get her own movie, right? Do the right thing, Fox. There's no doubt that we'll see a Magneto or Deadpool movie in the future, but we can at least hope Doop will see the light of day.
