10 X-Men Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Off

6. Angel/Archangel

Angel was one of the original X-Men, a billionaire CEO playboy, heir to Worthington Industries. Sound familiar? Later, he was revamped as Archangel, and became more of a brooding, introspective character. If the original Angel seems a little too close to Batman/Bruce Wayne, well, there's no reason a strong character driven story, starting with his wealthy background and following along with a personal transformation - as well as his physical mutations - couldn't work. Angel was seen ever so briefly in X-Men: Last Stand as a troubled young man dealing with his mutation, but there's lots of room for the character to expand from there (in fact, though it was a pretty cool scene, like most of Last Stand, it should probably be forgotten).
