10 X-Men Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Off
5. Jubilee
Jubilee has thus far just had cameo appearances in the X-Men films (the first three), which is why she has the potential to work in her own big-screen venture. She's pretty much a blank canvas as far as the movies are concerned. She was also at one point the youngest of the X-Men, something of a teenage mall girl, and would probably appeal to a younger demographic that studios no doubt want. That doesn't mean the film has to be quickly churned out garbage for tweens, however. Jubilee was closely associated with Wolverine (think of his relationship with Rogue in the movies), and he could always tie in. A coming of age tale featuring the character struggling with her transition to adulthood while dealing with newfound powers and responsibility could work well. It should also be noted that in the comics, Jubilee is referred to as having almost unlimited potential for her power, and referenced as one of the most powerful mutants (according to Emma Frost).
