10. Focus On The Original X-Men

It was recently revealed that Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, and Alexandra Shipp will play Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse. Characters like Angel and Iceman turning up in this new timeline is possible, but unlikely, though you have to imagine that fans will see more new versions of familiar faces in this sequel. These three characters were not treated well in the original trilogy, and Cyclops in particular ended up getting the short end of the stick. Many fans expected to see Days Of Future Past reintroduce these characters, but the focus was still on those met in X-Men: First Class. That's understandable, but also a missed opportunity. With any luck, this movie will find the right balance of dealing with those past relationships and these new ones. It's actually crazy to think that Magneto has been the villain in five X-Men movies now. Michael Fassbender is amazing in the role, but now feels like the right time to wrap up some of the stories which began in First Class in order to give the younger stars a chance to lead the franchise.
