10 X-Men: Days Of Future Past Problems Apocalypse Must Address
4. Quicksilver's Parentage
Some sort of link between Quicksilver and Magneto was teased in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, and while that was a fun nod for fans, X-Men: Apocalypse needs to pick up on this plot thread and run with it. Another version of Quicksilver will be introduced in Avengers: Age Of Ultron later this year, but Marvel are at a serious disadvantage; they can't mention the fact that Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch are mutants, or that Magneto is their father. Being able to play with that provides Singer with a unique new dynamic, and it would be ridiculous not to take advantage of it. X-Men: Days Of Future Past certainly missed out on doing so, but given the way Quicksilver was intently staring at the TV screen at the end of the movie, perhaps he knows more than he let on or simply believes in Magneto's cause? It's been confirmed that Evan Peters will be reprising the role in X-Men: Apocalypse, so here's hoping he ends up being more than just another member of Magneto's Brotherhood. The relationship between that villain and his children has always been one of the most interesting things about them, and would give Michael Fassbender something new to do.
