4. Teenage X-23 (Logan)
Logan is a movie that got virtually everything right, including its depiction of his cloned daughter X-23. Dafne Keen and her lost innocence complemented the movie's tone and her chemistry with Hugh Jackman was the driving force behind the story.
That said, it would have been interesting if director James Mangold had made the character a teenager, as was originally considered at one stage. Concept art from Aaron Sims reveals what an older version of Laura would have looked like.
She seems to be going through an angsty goth phase in these sketches, but there's no denying that a teen X-23 would have proved a heavy hitter during the film's no-holds-barred action sequences, not that Keen wasn't handy in that department.
Mangold decided Laura should be younger because he didn't want to make "a CW show". It's difficult to claim he didn't make the right choice, but the possibilities a teenage X-23 would have offered are fun to mull over.
