The Phalanx may be strange to look at, but that's nothing compared to our next villain, who clearly got hit by every branch as he fell down from the 'ugly freak' tree. Coming in at number six is the inter-dimensional alien Mojo who rules the imaginatively titled Mojoverse, a place where everyone is forced to watch his reality television programs featuring participants fighting to the death. Mojo himself is no push over either. As he lacks a spine, the grotesque monstrosity relies on a multi-legged flying platform for transportation, which also features a number of weapons and a large artificial appendage. As if that wasn't enough to trouble our favorite mutants, Mojo also possesses magical abilities including energy blasts and a touch of death. When Mojo was first created back in 1985, the concept preempted the success of reality TV by almost two decades, but now, the chance to explore the impact of invasive media on culture is more relevant than ever. This angle would be unique among other comic book movies, although inevitably, there would be parallels to the Hunger Games franchise, which is either a good or a bad thing depending on your viewpoint of the blockbuster series. Regardless though, Mojo's iconic appearance will certainly remain in the minds of cinema-goers long after the credits roll, whether they want it to or not. Just check out those wires that hold Mojo's eyelids open...
