7. Chiwetel Ejiofor - Black Panther
Though some might immediately go to Djimon Hounsou for the Wakanda based superhero, but there is something irresistible in the idea of Ejiofor bringing a more regal edge to the chief of the Panther Tribe, married with a physical prowess that could undoubtedly be taught through conditioning and combat training. Ejiofor has built a reputation, culminating in his work on 12 Years A Slave, and along with his acting prowess, which would be necessary to add an extra dimension to the character (the same way Marvel has tended to cast strongly skilled leads in other MCU properties), he is no push over in the physical stakes. And if Marvel do follow the track that we suggested in our Marvel Master Plan, and pit T'Challa against Claw (played, on our suggestion, by Benedict Cumberbatch) we could expect some serious fireworks as the two characters clash.
