11 Actors Who Should Take Over Indiana Jones

3. Donald Glover

Just a few short years ago, fans were starting online petitions to get Glover cast as Spider-Man. Now, big franchises are begging Glover to agree to be part of their cast.

Glover's star has been on the rise as of late, thanks in no small part to his excellent television series, Atlanta. Glover writes, directs, and performs on the show and has regularly demonstrated his adept ability to blend together the world of comedy, drama, and surrealism to create something coherent and gripping, both in his writing and in his acting.

As of late, Glover's performances have been much more dramatically-driven, as he shows off a range that few would have guessed Troy from Community was harboring with him. But his roots are very much in comedy, as he started out as a comedy writer and performer.

Not to mention the fact that Glover has also taken on a hugely daunting task in taking over the role of Lando Calrissian in the upcoming Solo film. From the brief glimpses the trailers have offered, Glover's take on the role is already inciting praise.

Between the excentric comedic talents, the dramatic heft, the courage in the face of taking on a pre-established role, and the ability to meld genres together through performance alone, Glover is perfectly qualified to take on the role of Indiana Jones.
