11 Batman Movie Villains We Almost Got To See

2. Aliens?

The Film: Batman In Outer Space In his attempts to get Batman off the ground as a viable adaptation property in the early 1980s, Michael Uslan faced some fairly ridiculous indifference to his creative vision. That included from DC itself, whose president Sol Harrison said Batman was €œas dead as a dodo€:
€œ€˜Since it went off on TV.€™ He says to me, €˜No one is interested in Batman.€™€
Ulsan spoke to Batman-On-Film (http://www.batman-on-film.com/Batman75_B89-25-anniversary_interview_MUslan_6-27-14.html ) to say that even worse than that the only party interested in Batman, CBS, wanted to make a Batman in Outer Space movie. Apparently that was their attempt at cleansing the palate after the campy €˜60s TV show, with the inevitably suggestion being that CBS would have had Batman fighting some sort of alien enemy. Otherwise being in space wouldn€™t really have made sense, would it?
