3. Billy Dee Williams' Two-Face

The Film: Tim Burton€™s Batman 3 Though he€™s probably not short of geeky fan-love thanks to his role in the Star Wars franchise, Billy Dee Williams could have doubled down thanks to his initially planned expanded role in Tim Burton€™s Batman trilogy. Burton had initially planned to have a third film follow on directly from Batman Returns, in the same style, but Warner Bros lost confidence in his darker vision and moved his sideways into a creative consultancy role. That came at the cost of Burton€™s Two-Face storyline, which would have seen Williams€™ Harvey Dent graduate into the villain, and the themes of Burton€™s first two films wrapped more tightly up. Sadly though, Warner Bros brought in Schumacher, stopped him from making his dark adaptation and turned the franchise into a toy shop window.
