11 Best New Horror Movies For Halloween 2021

3. Halloween Kills

It’s an obvious one: you give us a Halloween franchise movie around Halloween, we’re gonna talk about it.

The newest addition to the latest stretch of Halloween movies, Halloween Kills is the second instalment of our ‘final’ trilogy. Following on from the events of Halloween (2018) - which saw Laurie and family locking Michael in a burning basement to be roasted to death - we see as Myers evades his evisceration once again, going on to create more havoc.

Of course a few people and a burning house couldn’t keep Michael Myers down - and we would be stupid to suspect otherwise. This time though, Strode and co. aren’t alone, and they join forces with others from around the Haddonfield community.

It’s your usual bloody kills, unstoppable baddie, tension-filled-slow-walking-into-a-crime-scene type job. But it’s totally ok and passable because it’s Halloween at the end of the day, and no matter how much crap has come out of this franchise in the past, we all keep flocking back to watch it.
