3. Bane Breaks The Bat The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises, whether you found it to be a disappointment or not, still had some rather impressive moments that lived up to the hype the film was undoubtedly preceeded by. Christopher Nolan delivered as good of an ending as he could to a trilogy that contained The Dark Knight, and while it's not a perfect film, it doesn't deserve most of the ridicule it receives. Regardless of what would come before or after this entry's screen time, fans could agree that it was the moment we were all waiting. A moment that was pretty much a given from the moment we heard that Bane would be rearing his masked face to terrorize Gotham. A moment of terror and ultimate weakness, ripped straight out of Knightfall, the fight before the fall was one of the best in the Dark Knight Legend, simply because it underplayed all of the factors that were showcased in previous fights. There was no music, there was no grand balletic takedown, there was only a brutal street fight amplified by the absence of soundtrack. And then all at once it ended. I was wondering which would break firstyour spirit, or your body? With that taunt, we saw Tom Hardys Bane lower Christian Bales Caped Crusader over his knee; creating a sickening crack that signified the fall of The Dark Knight and the rise of one of his most deadly enemies.
