11 Bizarre Ways Movies Have Been Spoiled

9. The Phantom Menace Soundtrack Listing Spoiled A Key Death

The anticipation for The Phantom Menace can only be rivalled by The Force Awakens, and things reached fever pitch prior to release. Fans were rabid for any details they could get their hands on, and would even pay to see movies just to watch the trailer before leaving. Lucasfilm managed to keep a lot of the key surprises hidden away; and seemingly didn't realise that John Williams no nonsense soundtrack titles would give away a key surprise. The official soundtrack was released two weeks ahead of the film, so of course fans were going to pick up a copy. They probably regretted giving the back a quick scan though; two of the tracks are titled €œQui-Gon€™s Noble End€ and €œThe High Council Meeting and Qui-Gon€™s Funeral€, leaving no doubt of the character€™s fate. Fans probably could have figured out Qui-Gon Jinn wasn€™t going to make to the end of the prequel trilogy, but it was a shame to read such a blatant spoiler just ahead of release.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
