11 Bizarre Ways Movies Have Been Spoiled

5. An Excited Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull Extra Incurs The Wrath Of Spielberg

Movie extra Tyler Nelson was so excited about appearing in Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull (hindsight is everything) that he dropped huge spoilers about it to his local paper. Story information was being kept under lock and key while the film was shot, so his chatty interview is the first time people got a clear picture of what the movie was about. He revealed key details of the scene he was involved with; including Cate Blancett€™s role, the Russians kidnapping Marion Ravenwood and he even revealed that Mutt was Indy€™s son. In his excitement poor Tyler must have forgotten about his non-disclosure agreement, and Spielberg was said to be so furious that he considered scrapping the scenes altogether. He apparently also made sure that Tyler was blacklisted from any future projects he works on, and made it difficult for Nelson to find extra work with other companies. At least Tyler didn€™t spoil the film would be crap €“ people had to pay to find that out for themselves.
