11 Bizarre Ways Movies Have Been Spoiled

4. Hacked Sony Emails Confirmed Blofeld Was The Villain Of Spectre

Sony was famously hacked in 2014, leading to a sudden influx of behind the scenes gossip on their movies; Angelina Jolie was dubbed a €œa minimally talented spoilt brat€ and early talks between Sony and Marvel about working on Spider-Man together were revealed. The emails also contained reports about script troubles on Spectre; the studio heads were happy with the first two acts, but felt the awful ending could ruin the whole thing. The information correctly spelled out the first two acts €“ including the opening scene in Mexico and the train fight with Mr. Hinx €“ and revealed the villain was none other than Blofeld himself. The company was so paranoid about the character€™s identity being leaked that he wasn€™t called Blofeld in the script, but the emails left no doubt about who he was supposed to be. Ironically the executives found the brotherly link between him and Bond to be contrived; a sentiment most reviews would agree with.
