11 Crucial Things Star Wars Episode 8 Needs

7. An Epic Luke-Leia Reunion

Ok, maybe not that kind of reunion. Sorry. Considering that it's widely accepted that Luke Skywalker has been missing for roughly 15 years around the time of The Force Awakens, there's going to be quite the family reunion when Rey inevitably manages to bring him back into the fold and have him meet up with his sister, Leia. It should be an emotional, nostalgic moment for fans, and hopefully Rian Johnson will give the scene the time it deserves rather than rushing it through like happened with so many character beats in The Force Awakens. It'd probably make sense for Luke to meet up with Leia just ahead of the film's final battle if not sooner, giving it that final dramatic push. Either way, seeing the two characters sharing the screen once again is going to give fans chills.
