2. Spectre - Day Of The Dead Festival

2012's Skyfall was a smash-hit for the Bond franchise, cementing Craig as an iconic 007 agent. The franchise needed it, after the underwhelming Quantum of Solace.

The next instalment in the franchise was quick to laud its acquisition of the rights to Bond's most terrifying terrorist organisation: Spectre. I mean, it's in the name. Spectre, however, was a pretty tedious romp for Bond as he half-heartedly seduced and deduced his way to the heart of Blofeld's evil criminal empire.

The attempt to link every single villain Craig has faced together comes off as confused and lazy. You know it's bad when the extremely unutilised Christoph Waltz playing the exemplary Blofeld is overshadowed by the silent, hulking presence of Dave Batista's Mr Hink.

Of course, we didn't initially realise how monotonous Spectre would be because the opening was just so good. Craig stalks through an impressive tracking shot of The Day of the Dead festival, aiming to foil a terrorist bombing plot as the last wishes of the late M. It's suave, seductive, and leads to an explosive confrontation and chase across Mexico City's streets.

If the critical responses for proceeding movies is anything to go by, No Time To Die will hopefully end Craig's career on a high note, despite its pretty spotty production history.
