4. Breaking Dawn: Part 2 - The Final Fight
Twilight today feels like a bygone era of teenage drivel that most of the actors have moved on from. Robert Patterson is landing incredible big-screen roles in Tenet, The Lighthouse, and The Batman, while Kristen Stewart's performances have also blossomed in the new Charlie's Angels and Underwater.
Breaking Dawn: Part 2 is a pretty drab affair as it spends the majority of its run-time watching the Cullens preparing to fight the Volturi, who believe Bella and Edward's daughter is a dangerous threat. In the book, this leads to a small discussion to which the Volturi kind of just go away and everyone lives happily ever after.
Breaking Dawn: Part 2 retcons the book's ending and asks what would have happened if a battle between the Cullens and the Volturi took place. The film bestows upon Twilight fans that bloody brawl in all its glory. Both sides take heavy casualties, fan-favourites are beheaded, and wolves devour people's flesh. It's gruesome, grisly, and altogether unexpected.
Sure, this all happened in a vision, but audiences didn't know that, and it led to the most thrilling scene in the Twilight saga.
