6. Forrest Bondurant (Tom Hardy) - Lawless
The Scene: In the movie's epilogue, it turns out that the apparently-invincible Forrest (Hardy) isn't, as it's revealed that he succumbed to pneumonia after drunkenly falling into a frozen lake.
Why It's Hilariouly Bad: Yes, it's meant to be ironic and all, but still, for such a bada** character to die such a lame death and for it to be tacked onto the end of the movie in such perfunctory fashion makes it hard not to chuckle and lament the filmmakers' lack of tact.
It's as though director John Hillcoat basically got to the end of his movie, realised he hadn't tied off Forrest's arc yet, and threw it out there with nothing more than a, "Hey, remember this guy?" Outrageous.
