8. Will Ben Affleck Win Over Audiences?

When Ben Affleck was announced as Batman back in August 2013, the Internet pretty much broke instantaneously. Fans just couldn't believe that Warner were placing the future of a major comic book icon in the hands of the guy who "ruined" Daredevil and said he'd never put on a superhero costume again. Granted, the reaction was wildly overwrought and, of course, Affleck's recent work has shown a sure maturity as an artist, not to mention that the Daredevil debacle was more the fault of the script and studio intervention than much that he did. While Affeck will likely nail Batman with the right script and direction, the question still remains as to whether more casual audiences, who haven't seen Affleck's more recent successes, will be able to put aside their dislike for the actor and just accept it?
