8. Virus (1999)
Virus is based on a one-off comic book about an alien life form that takes over a Chinese space vessel and reconfigures it to be evil. Kind of. The story concerns the crew of a salvage ship who arrive on the virus-ridden vessel and have to deal with the consequences. Because this was the '90s, therefore this idea had to become a movie. Virus is awful in every conceivable way that you could imagine it would be. I mean, the special effects are quite good for the time, but mostly this is about as generic as they come: you know exactly what's going to happen at every single moment. For the
