The Scene: After the destruction on Three Mile Island, in which Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) cut Weapon XI's (Ryan Reynolds/Scott Adkins) head off, the creature known as kinda-Deadpool appears to regenerate amid the rubble, its adamantium claws retracting into his hands as he reaches for his severed head. The head's eyes open, and the Merc has his mouth back, as a faint "Shhhh" is heard and the scene cuts to black. How Long You Waited: 5 minutes, 19 seconds (after Stryker's mid-credits scene). Why Everyone Regrets Staying For It: Because the film was an utter train-wreck anyway, and if you were hoping for any form of post-credits redemption, you were sorely mistaken. Yes, this scene did suggest that Deadpool would be back, likely in his more faithful comic book form (could he really be any less so?), but given how poorly he was handled in this film, it gave little solace to fans who were probably just hoping this creative team would leave him alone...which they actually did from this point on. It's goofy and not in a good way, and just serves to further remind audiences of how terribly such an iconic character was bungled in this movie. At least the upcoming Deadpool movie can't possibly give him any worse a portrayal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onvfnqj-LbI
