11 Marvel Cinematic Universe Films The Fans Would Love (That Will Never Happen)

4. Dark Avengers

Norman Osborn's exclusion from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as the numerous members of the team who Marvel Studios don't have the rights to, make this a very unlikely proposition as far as getting the movie treatment is concerned. Osborn is the leader of the Dark Avengers in the comic books and it would be fantastic to see him putting together a superhero team in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that, unknown to the public in its fictional universe, contains several members who are supervillains disguised as established superheroes. It would be somewhat like HYDRA€™s infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D. but on a more powerful and threatening scale, and that would be awesome. However, aside from the character rights issues, putting together such an elaborate storyline in a single movie would be almost impossible - putting the team together, having them convince the public they are good and then turn bad is worthy of several movies - and it would take several movies just to bring the number of characters required for the team in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's a novel and cool idea, but we'll never see it come in to fruition.
