11 Movie Cliffhangers That Were Ignored In The Sequel

10. Halloween: H20 Snubbed The Cliffhanger Of Halloween 6

The production of Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers was a total mess, and two different versions of the film exist, with one being slightly less terrible than the other. One of the most bizarre elements in the film is the introduction of a cult subplot to the series, which explained away Michael€™s homicidal rampages and invincibility as being the result of a pagan cult manipulating him. The story had him trying to kill his newborn nephew, only to foiled by Paul Rudd beating the crap out of him with a lead pipe. The film wasn€™t a success and fans weren€™t fond of the ridiculous cult angle, so when news came Jamie Lee Curtis was coming back to the franchise €“ and her new film would ignore parts four to six- nobody complained. This, of course, left the fate of Rudd and the baby nephew unresolved, but then again nobody really cared about it to start with.
