11 People Who Got Paid Insane Money For NOT Making A Movie

3. Jack Nicholson - The Batman Sequels

Marlon Wayans isn€™t the only one who got well paid for doing very little on a Batman sequel. Jack negotiated himself a legendary deal for the original Batman; in exchange for taking a reduced fee, he€™d receive a share of the profits, plus a cut of any future sequels and merchandise. The original was a huge success so Jack was literally showered with money, and it€™s a deal that continued to pay off. The option for The Joker to return was pencilled into his contract, but despite rumours of a cameo in the cancelled Batman Triumphant, he was never called on to reprise the role in a sequel. This didn€™t stop him getting paid for them, which considerably fattened his already healthy bank balance from the first movie. He€™s estimated to have earned at least $60 million from the deal, although some sources claim the figure is closer to $100 million.
