11 Potential Villains For MCU's Sinister Six

9. Morbius

Michael Morbius has only been in two separate incarnations of the Sinister Six... kind of. In the first instance, it was a holographic Morbius. In the second, Peter teamed up with a young cancer patient to play with him (a Make-A-Wish Foundation-like arrangement), and the two imagined that they were fighting Spider-Man's villains, Morbius among them.

Alright, so Morbius hasn't been in any REAL version of the Sinister Six. So what? Thanos wasn't an eco-terrorist, Vulture wasn't Liz's dad, and Tony Stark didn't create Ultron. The MCU takes liberties with the source material, and who's to say that they won't take some with the Sinister Six's roster?

The sheer fact that Adrian Toomes appeared in the Morbius trailer - draped in the same prison jumpsuit we last saw him wearing in Homecoming - seems to indicate that the MCU and the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (Jesus, what a title) are at least LOOSELY connected.

If that's the case - and if rumours that Sony hopes for more MCU crossovers are true - then why WOULDN'T we see Morbius? Sony clearly has plans for him. Otherwise, why introduce him at all?
