7. Who The Hell Is David Thewlis Playing?

The Question: There's one big casting mystery left for the movie: without any set leaks or official images, who is the brilliant David Thewlis playing?

The Likely Answer: It's safe to say that he's either playing a small, insignificant part or a hugely spoilerific one if we haven't seen him yet.

Don't be surprised if it turns out he's playing a performance capture character, perhaps Ares' "final form", or an additional third-act antagonist fans haven't even thought of yet.

Also, considering that Thewlis has played German soldiers before (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas) and is incredibly well-suited to doing so, it's definitely possible he'll show up as one, because why not?
