What The Haters Think: "Ben Affleck is a sucky choice for Batman because of his previous embarrassment playing Daredevil, and well, because he's Ben Affleck." Why They're Wrong: Though it's tough to argue with the fact that Affleck was pretty terrible in Daredevil, it wasn't really his fault: the script was lackluster and so he had nothing to work with. Though the actor originally stated that he'd never play another superhero again, considering that his career has enjoyed a major turnaround over the last 7 or 8 years, as both a director and actor, it makes sense that he reconsidered when an interesting offer came across the table. Affleck's been making a ton of smart choices lately and has racked up a number of great recent performances, so if there's anything to be worried about for this movie, he certainly isn't it. He has the "look" of Bruce nailed down, and his synthesised Bat-voice in the teaser sounds incredibly cool.
