7. An Oscar-Winner Has Co-Written The Script
What The Haters Think: "Like any movie, BvS will live and die with its script, but given how Man of Steel had plenty of dodgy plot elements, why should anyone expect better for this?" Why They're Wrong: Though David S. Goyer wrote Man of Steel of his own accord, he got some much-needed help for Batman v Superman, with Argo writer Chris Terrio co-writing the script. Though Terrio hasn't got any experience writing superhero or blockbuster movies, he did win an Oscar for his Argo script, and given how much real, human drama needs to be poured into this film, he's no doubt going to be a valuable asset moving forward. Plus, Warner Bros. must be impressed with his work so far, considering that they've retained him to write both parts of the upcoming Justice League saga.
