5. The Whole "No Humour" Thing

Humour is the heart and soul of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - of that there is no doubt. The most popular characters in the franchise to date - the likes of Tony Stark, Loki and Star-Lord - rely predominantly on wit and charisma to make them so likeable and, as a result, humour has become both expected and essential in MCU offerings. It is, therefore, quite baffling that DC and Warner Brothers have announced that the DC Cinematic Universe will be completely humour-free. It's one thing to differentiate from a rival, but this seems like a sure-fire way of shooting themselves in the foot. However, here's hoping they manage to make their movies entertaining without humour and somehow pull it off - otherwise people might lose interest quick.
