Though Moonraker is commonly referred to as the Star Wars-themed Bond movie, if you haven't seen it in a while you might actually be surprised how little of it actually features full-tilt sci-fi shenanigans.

It's not until act three that Bond arrives at Drax's high-tech base and his dastardly plan to "reboot" Earth from scratch comes into play. Granted, the movie crams a whole lot of space-faring nonsense into those final 40 minutes, but the first two acts actually skew pretty close to a more conventional Bond film formula.

Sure, that's probably more for budgetary reasons than anything else, but considering the movie risked alienating more traditional Bond fans if it went full Star Wars, relegating the genre shift to act three was probably a pretty smart call.
