10. James Franco Bumps Kirsten Dunst's Head In Spider-Man 3
Spider-Man 3 is quite cool. It arguably has the coolest antagonist of all Spider-Man films. He can turn himself into sand! Thats more interesting than having superhuman strength and speed. In Spider-Man 3 Harry also officially turns against Peter because he finds out that he killed his father. And MJ and Peter still dont hit it off properly. Quite the opposite, actually. Peter is neglecting her and even lets another girl kiss him. Tsk, tsk. In this scene, MJ is starting to be upset with Peter, and Harry is suffering from memory loss. What makes this scene stand out is that it has a 'real' feel to it. Its one of these slightly awkward moments that could happen in our own lives. Instead, it happens in a film about a spiderish superhero protecting New York City from evil antagonists. Theres no apparent reason for Harry bumping Mary Janes head. Its also not a good fit with the rather serious dialogues in the rest of the movie. It makes you wonder: maybe this is the result of a dare between Franco and his pal Seth Rogen? Good or bad awkward? Good awkward. The relationship between harry and Mary Jane is quite refreshing. Especially if you compare it with her relationship to Peter. Harry might be the bad guy, hes still quite likable. And he has style. Just think of his dance moves when hes doing the twist with Mary Jane. The dance, I mean. While they make omelettes. Oh, knock it off, you perverts.
